Police RPL
The amount of time it takes to complete the RPL process for police, including qualification matching and evidence assessment, varies depending on the provider you choose. The overall timeframe also depends on how soon you can provide suitable documentation and whether any follow-up information is needed.
However, it takes just 14 days with Churchill Education, or 7 days through our VIP Fast-Track Service.
Some of the most popular qualifications for police and first responders that can help you transition into a new career include the Diploma of Government Investigations PSP50416, Diploma of Work Health and Safety BSB5131, Diploma of Leadership and Management BSB50420, and Diploma of Security Risk Management CPP50619.
You’re eligible to gain a qualification through RPL if you have current, relevant proof of experience working within the police force. However, if you’re not sure, the best way to confirm your eligibility is by completing an appraisal with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) like Churchill Education. A Career & Education Advisor will assess your background, skills, experience, and evidence, and recommend the qualifications your police career makes you eligible for.
RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) for police is an assessment process that turns your police or first responder career experience into nationally recognised qualifications. It assesses your existing skills and knowledge against a formal set of criteria to award you a qualification, without the need for any further study.
