Everything you need to know about RPL and the Churchill Education process

Still have questions?

Our team is here to help. Get in touch and we will answer any questions you have about RPL.

How long does the RPL process take?

The amount of time it takes to complete the RPL process, including qualification matching and evidence assessment, varies depending on the provider you choose. The overall timeframe also depends on how soon you can provide suitable documentation and whether any follow-up information is needed.

However, it takes just 14 days with Churchill Education, or 7 days through our VIP Fast-Track Service.

You can secure a qualification through RPL while working full-time, as this assessment process requires no further study. Instead, it recognises the skills and knowledge you’ve already developed through your career, and means you won’t have to study what you already know.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a formal assessment process that turns your existing work experience and skills into nationally recognised qualifications. Your experience is compared against the qualification requirements, and if they match, you’re awarded the credentials without completing any further study or sitting exams.

The best way to find out whether you’re eligible to secure a qualification through RPL is to complete a free qualification appraisal with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) like Churchill Education. A Career & Education Advisor will assess your background, skills, experience, and evidence, and recommend the qualifications you may qualify for.
