“If you’re ex-Defence and you’ve been in leadership or management roles, RPL is the fastest and most respectful way to get civilian recognition for what you already know.

Don’t waste time in courses relearning things you’ve done for years under far more demanding conditions than most civilian environments. Get your experience assessed, get your qualification, and get on with your career.

Make sure you choose a provider like Churchill who understands Defence. You need assessors who know what a duty statement means, who understand military structure and documentation, and who respect the level of responsibility you carried.

Keep good records during your service—performance reviews, duty statements, examples of plans or programs you developed. This becomes your evidence.
