Why Warren Decided on RPL with Churchill Education

Learn more about the decision that helped Warren align his experience with formal qualifications.

“You grow to believe that your skills are not transferable.” Warren

Key Reasons

Despite extensive leadership experience, Warren felt the absence of formal qualifications impacted his credibility.

His policing qualifications did not translate effectively outside law enforcement.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) provided a pathway to formally validate his experience without unnecessary study.

The Turning Point

Determined to formalise his expertise, Warren began exploring study options—leading him to discover Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). What started as research soon became a strategic decision to gain qualifications that truly reflected his experience and supported his ongoing professional growth.

Background Journey

Warren’s career spans decades of leadership, built through hands-on experience rather than formal education. With a strong foundation developed over years of service, he reached a point where aligning his experience with recognised qualifications became the next logical step.

Warren's Advice to Others

Guidance from someone who's been there

warren-groves

“I’d say investigate it and make the call sooner rather than later.

The longer you leave it, the more you risk losing the relevance of your experience.

I did 26 years in police, but because of when I left, a lot of that doesn’t count anymore.

If I had done something earlier, I could have had even more recognised.

So do it as soon as you can.

Do your due diligence, but I highly recommend giving Churchill a go.”
