The Churchill Education
Scholarship

In the spirit of continual giving back to our community, we are offering you the chance to win a scholarship of up to the value of $2000*.

The Churchill Education Scholarship

Churchill Education helps talented people from many industries across Australia, to turn their career experience into qualifications through the process of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Churchill began in 2006 after co-founder Randall Smith had received help and support with his medical retirement from police. We have always lent this same helping hand to others in need. This program formalises that history of supporting others.

In the spirit of continual giving back to our community, we are offering you the chance to win a scholarship of up to the value of $2000* to fund qualifications gained through RPL.

* Please note that this is credit towards qualifications, not cash.

The $2000 scholarships are for:

  • Police and First Responders
  • Those coming through the other side of Mental Health issues
  • Women in Business
  • Defence Members and Veterans

You will find application dates and instructions for each scholarship below.

The scholarships can be used to cover the entire cost of one qualification up to the level of an Advanced Diploma, or toward the total cost of higher or multiple qualifications.

You can view all our available qualifications here.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Open Scholarships:

Applications open: 5 Sep – 14 October

Churchill Education Scholarship - Women in Business

Women in Business Scholarship

We’ve noticed something puzzling. Despite women making up 47% of the Australian workforce. Only about 25% of our RPL graduates are women. We’d like to see more women getting the recognition they deserve through qualifications that show what they know.

There are two scholarships of up to $2000 available in this category.

Churchill Education Scholarship - Defence

Defence Members & Veterans Scholarship

Since the beginning we’ve been ardent supporters of our brave defence members and veterans. Qualifications gained through RPL are a vital key in transitioning from defence to a civilian career. We know this can be a daunting process, so it brings us so much happiness to help in this journey.

There are two scholarships of up to $2000 available in this category.

UPCOMING SCHOLARSHIPS

The Churchill Education Police & First Responders Scholarship

Police & First Responders Scholarship

For us, this is personal. As mentioned above, co-founder Randall Smith was medically retired from what he thought would be a lifelong policing career, then had to work out who he was without the gun and the badge, and the value of his experience in other industries.

Since 2006 we have helped hundreds of other police and first responders to transition to new careers with the help of qualifications that show the value of their service to all employers.

Churchill Education Scholarship - Mental Health

Mental Health Support Scholarship

In an indirect way PTSD was the catalyst which brought Churchill Education into being. When co-founder Randall wound up with PTSD and retirement from his policing career it took the support of family, friends and business contacts to help him piece life and an identity back together.

For this reason we are passionate supporters of others going through their dark night of the soul.
