BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing is a qualification that focuses on how organisations examine their processes in practice through auditing measures. This qualification is applicable across industries and sectors.

When it comes to obtaining Recognition of Prior Learning in BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing, the starting point is that you have a foundation of quality auditing knowledge and you then use that knowledge to conduct systematic examinations of your organisations’ processes as they are used at an operational level.


Qualification Information

As quality auditing is applied in many industries, the position titles that accompany someone successfully completing a Diploma of Quality Auditing are equally vast. Churchill Education’s Diploma of Quality Auditing graduates have included people with job titles such as:

  • Quality Coordinator & Assessor
  • Compliance Manager
  • Internal Auditor
  • Quality Assurance Manager
  • Quality Auditing Manager
  • Manager, Safety & Auditing
  • QA Advisor
  • QA Officer
  • Risk & Governance Officer

A total of 12 units of competency must be completed in Diploma of Quality Auditing. The units of competency required are:

  • 4 core units
  • 8 elective units

The starting point for this qualification is addressing the 4 core units. Core units are mandatory for every student completing Diploma of Quality Auditing. When you look at the core units you can see that these key competencies follow the logical sequence of auditing, both as a lead auditor and as a team of auditors working together:

  • Participating in quality audits
  • Initiating quality audits
  • Leading quality audits
  • Reporting on quality audits

Once the core units have been addressed, you have the option of completing your Diploma of Quality Auditing with a balance of elective units that focus on specialist auditing skills and transferable skills. For example:
