Churchill Education uses a variety of methods to deliver the required courses including:
The final method of delivery is determined in consultation with the customer and delivery is arranged at a mutually agreeable timetable.
As a specialist Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) provider, Churchill Education can facilitate the awarding of units of qualifications to staff who have sufficient experience in that area. The use of RPL in tailoring the course content and delivering this qualification allows us to spend valuable classroom time focusing on extending the skills and knowledge of your Investigators, without having to revisit fundamentals such as upholding the values of the public service.
We are mindful of providing assistance to each potential applicant to make the RPL process simple through streamlined processes – no jumping through hoops, no mountains of paperwork – just simple recognition for the experience and competencies that the Investigators demonstrate daily while on the job.
Churchill Education first began offering nationally recognised qualifications to Government Investigators in 2006. We were specifically asked to deliver this training because of an unusual skill combination in the Churchill leadership team: not only did we have 16 years of experience in government investigations in our collective skillset, but also ten years of experience of prosecuting.
We reflect this collective skillset in our specialised approach to training investigators. The strength of an investigation can be found in its ability to withstand a vigorous defence in the courts. In preparing Investigations course participants to appear before the judiciary, we create a more skilled investigator who can sit confidently in a witness box, knowing their investigation has been conducted to the highest possible standard.
In the last eleven years, we have continuously delivered Certificate IV and Diploma courses to Government Investigators from a range of compliance and regulatory areas: from the Health Sector, to various Transport authorities, Primary Industries and Resource Management. We have taught through the last three iterations of this qualifications and are currently registered to deliver the latest and most up-to-date nationally recognised qualifications, the PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations and PSP50416 Diploma of Government Investigations.
Depending on the course and location, our courses are based on a minimum of 8 participants per intake, with a maximum of 14 participants per intake. Other class sizes are subject to further negotiation.
Course fees are applied per participant and discounts apply to group sizes above 14 participants.
For our classroom delivery model for the PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations, the cost ranges from $1995 to $2295 per participant, depending upon course requirements and volume of participants.
Course fees are based on delivery at the client’s site at the client’s expense and no catering (morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea) has been included. If you would like us to source a training venue and catering, our Student Support team can do this and pass on the actual costs.
Your investment includes all aspects of course delivery, student learner guide, and equipment.
In addition, trainer travel and accommodation may be charged at actual costs or depending upon group size, may be negotiated into the overall course fees.
For all group training courses, our terms of payment are:
